A 72-year-old woman was pulled from her vehicle Tuesday after crashing into a pond. Vera Duncan was later pronounced dead at the local hospital. Duncan was driving on Alafaya Trail when she lost control of her vehicle. The car flipped into a pond nearby after traveling 500 feet on the sidewalk. Rescue workers from Orange County helped pull Duncan from the car.
