A car accident in Putnam County left one man with critical injuries and another dead.  Ralph Ellis, 39, was driving westbound on Florida 20 when he entered the eastbound lane and crashed head-on into a truck driven by Leonard Strickland, 54.  Ellis died at the scene of the accident.  Strickland is in critical condition.  Ellis was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.  It is unknown why he swerved into oncoming traffic.
