Six people were sent to the hospital yesterday as a result of two consecutive car crashes. Paramedics were on the scene of an accident on State Road 50 when another vehicle crashed into the accident scene. Paramedic Chad Lowrey was airlifted to the hospital along with another victim. The identities of the others involved have not been released.
