A 60-year-old man suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a car. Frederick Blanton, of Sanford, was hit by a car while crossing Oxford Road in Fern Park. The car was driven by Rubin Moore, 76, of Orlando. Blanton died at Florida Hospital Altamonte Springs. Moore was not injured. The crash is under investigation.
