Researchers Developing Rules For Children’s CT Scans | Daytona Beach Child Injury Lawyer


A Canadian research team had developed a new set of rules for doctors to decide whether a child should receive a CT scan.  The research was aimed at reducing radiation exposure to children.  Children are especially susceptible to the high dosage of radiation in a CT scan.  The rules are meant to help pinpoint head injuries that may become life threatening.
