A Sanford woman was killed early this morning while attempting to cross the street. Victim, Ana Vazquez, 44, was hit by a vehicle driven by Nicole Smith, 28, also of Sanford. Vasquez was crossing State Road 46 in Sanford when she was hit. The accident is under investigation at this time.
