Two wrecks involving a total of 16 people and 8 vehicles occurred within minutes of each other on I-95 yesterday.  The first wreck, in the northbound lane, involved 6 of the vehicles and 13 people. An EVAC transported four victims to Halifax Health Medical Center. Three more injured people followed them to Halifax after the second accident in the southbound lanes. The Interstate was closed around 9:30 a.m. to clean up the debris.  The victims' names and cause of the accidents are unknown.
