Study Finds Some Bone Fractures Increase Your Risk of Death | Daytona Beach Nursing Home Attorney

A recent study published in the Canadian Medical Association Journal shows a correlation between hip and back fractures and an increased risk of death.  The study followed 7,753 people over the age of 50.  Results show 25% of the men and women with a hip fracture and 16% with a spine fracture died within 5 years.  Doctors believe these injuries may precipitate a decline in health.
