Study Shows Florida Ranks Second Highest For Children Dying In Hot Cars | DeLand Child Injury Lawyer

A recent study by San Francisco State University showed Florida ranking second for the number of children dying in hot cars.  Approximately 500 children have died after being left unattended in the United States since 1998.  Three more children have died from hyperthermia just this year.  Florida ranks second with 56 deaths, following Texas with 71.  More than half the children were forgotten and left in the car.
