Surgical Tool Left Inside Palm Beach Patient | Daytona Beach Medical Malpractice Lawyer

A surgical sponge has been removed from a West Palm Beach judge who underwent abdominal surgery last year.  The judge, Nelson Bailey, went to the Good Samaritan Medical Center for diverticulitis surgery and left with severe pain that worsened over time.  Multiple tests failed to identify the surgical tool that was left inside Bailey’s abdomen until months later.  The Medical Center has reached a settlement with Bailey but additional lawsuits may follow involving the surgeon and radiologists.

Learn about a possibly deadly bacteria that is resistant to antibiotics in this Daytona Beach Medical Malpractice Lawyer article.
