The driver of a sport utility vehicle that struck a semi was killed this morning. The crash occurred on State Road 60 around 6:24 am. The sport utility vehicle was attempting to pass another vehicle when it hit the semi in oncoming traffic. The sport utility vehicle driver, whose identity was not released, died at the scene. The accident is under investigation.
