Gerald Jerome Oliphant, 27, died at North Broward Medical Center after a single vehicle crash occured on the exit ramp of Florida's Turnpike. Oliphant, a teacher from Oakland Park's South Florida Christian Prepatory Academy, was driving back from trip with seven students to Orlando's Universal Studios. The driver, Livingston James Finley, 18, fell asleep and lost control of the Chevy Suburban. Finley is in critical condition at North Broward.
