A DeLand law enforcement officer was in a parked patrol car when a truck hit him Wednesday afternoon. The truck was driven by Jimmy Hamilton, 62, of Georgia. Hamilton was on driving on the ramp connecting I-4 to I-95 when he crashed into John Costa. Costa suffered minor injuries in the crash.
