A 21-year-old man and his 6-year-old son were both injured yesterday when a 15-year-old crashed into their vehicle with a stolen truck.  Ernest McCante, the father, was taken to the hospital in critical condition but is expected to survive.

Stephon Shropshire, 15, has been charged with auto theft, aggravated battery, reckless driving, leaving a scene of an accident and driving with out a license.   Shropshire is accused of stealing a truck from a Daytona State baseball player near the college.  He then began to drive away at nearly 70 mph but crashed into the McCantes.  He ran but police shortly caught him.
