A fatal crash occurred Saturday when DeLeon Springs resident, Alfonso Hernandez, 51, ran a stop sign and crashed into a car driven by Patrisa Galvin, 19. Galvin’s passenger, Angel Martinez, 22, and Hernandez were both killed. Hernandez’s passenger Alfonso Hernandez, 19, was seriously injured and taken to Halifax Health Medical Center for treatment. Galvin was transported to Fish Memorial DeLand with minor injuries.
