Two Local Doctors Arrested | Orange City Medical Malpractice Lawyer

Two medical offices in Orange City and Sanford have been shut down after the arrest of two doctors involved in giving improper drug prescriptions. Dr. Ralph Chambers Jr., 61, and Dr. Neil Stringer, 51, were operating New Hope Health & Wellness and New Hope Family Care.

Authorities have been investigating this operation for five years and found the clinics have been prescribing narcotics to anyone who came to them.  During the investigation, agents were given prescriptions without a doctor exam or with assistants only weighing them and taking their blood pressure.  The most common drug prescribed was oxycodone.  Oxycodone has contributed to many drug overdoses here in Florida.

Learn more dangers of narcotic medications in this Orange City Medical Malpractice Lawyer article.
