A car accident last night in Orlando sent three people to the hospital with injuries, including one police officer.  Officer Edward Albino’s vehicle was hit while he was responding to a call.

Albino was at the intersection of Michigan Street and Dixie Belle Drive, with sirens on, when the accident occurred.  A van failed to yield to the law enforcement vehicle. The van's driver’s identity has not been released. Albino and two others in the van were injured.
