Woman Awarded $1.1 M In Medical Malpractice Suit | Daytona Beach Medical Malpractice Lawyer


A Maryland medical malpractice lawsuit recently ended with a $1.1 million verdict.  Phyllis Rode, 79, was awarded the money for medical expenses and pain and suffering after undergoing gallbladder removal surgery.  The surgery left Rode’s with internal injuries because the surgeon accidentally cut the hepatic duct.  This mistake left Rode to require more surgeries. In addition, she had to use tubes to drain the ducts for ten months.
