Woman’s Leg Amputated After Fall In Nursing Home | Deltona Nursing Home Abuse Lawyer

A nursing home negligence lawsuit recently settled for $7.5 million.  The victim was a Kentucky woman recovering from knee replacement surgery in a nursing home.  She fell while attempting to use the restroom by herself because the nurse said she was not available to help.   The fall caused injury to her knee as well as severe infection.  The infection was caused from urine the patient had fallen in. The woman spent two months in the hospital and eventually needed her leg amputated.
