Wrongful Death Lawsuit Filed For $1.9 Million | Orlando Nursing Malpractice Attorney

A wrongful death lawsuit was recently filed in Illinois after a woman died from complications at her nursing home facility.  The lawsuit states the nursing home failed to note the woman’s allergy to Sulfonamide. Sulfonamide is a common ingredient in antibiotic medicine.  The woman was given an antibiotic, Bactrim, which contained Sulfonamide.  She then had a reaction that caused her to loose more than half of her active skin, reports state.  Her estate has filed the wrongful death claim and is asking for $1.9 million.
