An accident is under investigation after a twenty-year-old man was killed in Deland, FL. Christopher W. Banbury died at the scene of the car crash.
Banbury was the passenger in a vehicle driven by Arthur A. Bakewell, 21. Bakewell lost control of the car while driving on Grand Avenue. Banbury was thrown from the vehicle when the door was ripped off. He was then struck by a car driven by Michael S. Reed, 26, who was unable to avoid the accident. Banbury was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
