• I have Empty Nose Syndrome (ENS) after sinus surgery. I had the surgery because I had chronic sinusitis and the doctor wanted to open up my nasal passages. Now I'm dizzy, groggy and have difficulty breathing. I often feel like I can't breathe even though my nose feels extremely wide open. I can't concentrate; I'm anxious and depressed. Is this my doctor's fault?
• Doctors found aasymptomatic mass on my lung and tested it twice for cancer. The cytology report said it was malignant, but the pathology report said it was benign. My doctors recommened removal so surgeons cut it out. Now my doctors say the mass was not cancer, that it was caused by an infection. Shouldn't the doctors have performed more tests to make sure it was cancer before operating on me. All they had was two conflicting tests.
• From what I can tell, the doctor performing my laparoscopic gallbladder cholecystectomy mistakenly cut open my bile duct because it's shaped a little differently and the surgeon did not recognize it to be my common bile duct. I sufferred tremendously as a result of this mistake and was forced to endure the pain and expense of more surgeries. Do I have a case?
  
• My 40-year-old husband, who was healthy except for a bout of pneumonia for which he was being treated in the hospital, was given a CT scan with contrast. He began coughing violently and died soon after. Was his death caused by the doctors' negligence?

• I had cholecystitis and went for a cholecystectomy gallbladder surgery, but the doctor/surgeon cut my bile duct. After the surgery, I was in so much pain from the bile eating away at my insides that I had to be on continuous morphine. The doctors did an ERCP and put a stent in to stop the bile leak. Even though the leak was solved, I was still in tremendous pain. It turns out the ERCP irritated my pancreas and the only thing that the hospital can do is put me on an automatic morphine drip. They say I'll feel better in a couple days when my pancreas recovers. Is this medical negligence? Can I sue the doctors for messing up my surgery?

• My pubic bone (specifically my pubic symphysis) and sacroiliac joints both ruptured during childbirth. My doctor told the nurses to push on my legs, which they were doing when I heard a loud pop in my pubic area that caused a lot of pain. They say it will take some time to recover from this tear.
