Trauma from car accidents can cause neck pain and numbness and tingling in your hands and feet.  The medical term for tingling in your hands and feet is paresthesia.  It has many different causes.  If there is pressure on a nerve in the spine then the numbness or tingling can occur.  Pressure can be created by a spinal disc injury including a disc bulge or disc herniation.  Disc bulges or herniations can be diagnosed with an MRI while paresthesia can be diagnosed with a nerve conduction study.
