A: A cholangiography is a procedure used to identify the flow of bile in your body. It should be used in most gallbladder surgeries to identify anatomical structures so as to not negligently cut your bile duct. If your bile does not light up with contrast dye, then the surgeon should assume the dye was incorrectly injected into the common bile duct instead of the cystic duct.

Her doctors and nurses knew my wife was at risk for pulmonary embolism and that she was overweight. No one examined anything but her swollen ankles at the follow-up appointment. They didn't run tests on her heart, lungs or chest. They didn't check her pedal pulse like I read they should do. This has got to be medical malpractice, right?
